Dr. Alfonso Marino is a registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and is in good standing. In addition to his private practice where he provides Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy treatment in the areas of depression, generalized anxiety, chronic pain, PTSD and psychophysiological insomnia, he also conducts Independent Insurer Examinations, Disability Assessments, WSIB Evaluations and sleep consultations. Mental health services provided also include Critical Stress Debriefing. He is also a Certified Clinical Analyst for Penile Plethysmograph/phallometric testing. Additionally, Dr. Alfonso conducts assessments in English and Italian.

Assessor Backgrounds & Experience
Dr. Marino has held a position with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as a psychology consultant in the Clinical Services Branch for four years. He has also held positions at North York General Hospital Adult Clinical Services and Ontario Correctional Institute. Dr. Marino has sat as Vice President for the Board of Directors at the META Centre and was a Board Member from 2013 to 2021.

Dr. Marino graduated with his Doctorate from the University of Toronto in 2001.
Assessor Awards, Achievements & Accolades
Dr. Marino is a member of the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (CRHSPP), Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment, Ontario Psychological Association and Canadian Sleep Society. He is also qualified as an expert in Psychology by FSCO arbitrators and is permitted to give expert testimony on areas within his scope of expertise.
