Insurer Examination
An Insurer Examination is an objective and comprehensive medical evaluation. It results in a report that details the examinee’s subjective complaints and the assessing physician’s unbiased findings.
Our physicians have no pre-existing doctor-patient relationship with evaluees. They spend a considerable amount of time examining and interviewing evaluees to determine if there is measurable impairment. To help the individual return to a normal functioning state as soon as possible, the report includes detailed treatment recommendations.
Insurer Examinations can be completed by a variety of certified medical professionals, including:
- Psychiatrists
- Orthopedic surgeons
- Occupational medicine physicians
- Rheumatologists
- Chiropractors
- Ophthalmologists
- ENTs/Otolaryngologists
- Dentists/TMJ specialists
- Plastic surgeons
- Cardiologists
- Internal medicine specialists
- Respirologists
Regardless of the medical professional who acts as the assessor, examinees can expect to be treated with respect and courtesy throughout the process.
