Workplace Risk Assessment
A Workplace Risk Assessment is a detailed, objective, and comprehensive evaluation of an examinee’s psychiatric condition. There is a particular focus on determining whether or not there is a genuine risk of the individual returning to a safe working environment.
These evaluations are led by psychiatrists who hold credentials issued by a provincial regulatory body. The assessors aim to provide detailed information while showing respect and courtesy toward the examinee.
To do so, Workplace Risk Assessments often involve collateral party interviews with:
- Members of the examinee’s family
- The examinee’s workplace supervisors
- The examinee’s colleagues
