Psycho-Vocational Evaluation
Psycho-Vocational Evaluations combine psychological and vocational testing methods. The process is completed by a registered psychologist who is specially certified to complete this type of assessment.
He or she completes a comprehensive report to evaluate an injured person’s ability to return to gainful employment. It takes into consideration any psychological effects or conditions that may have directly resulted from the incident in question.
Understanding Employability and Vocational Assessments
For a broader perspective on evaluating an individual’s physical and vocational abilities, explore our Employability and Vocational Assessments page. These assessments are designed to identify challenges that may hinder one’s capacity to begin or maintain employment, especially when cognitive, emotional, functional, or psychological difficulties are present.
Psycho-Vocational Evaluations may consider vocations that take into account the examinee’s:
- Aptitude
- Abilities
- Personality traits
- Psychological capabilities
Regardless, examinees can expect a process in which they are treated fairly and respectfully.
