Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Tanya Lentz is a registered Clinical Psychologist with a practice in Clinical Neuropsychology. She is registered in Newfoundland and Northwest Territories and proceeding with registration in Ontario.
Dr. Lentz has over 15 years of experience providing psychological and neuropsychological assessments to adults, adolescents, and children with neurological, developmental, and psychological conditions as well as evidence-based therapeutic intervention and cognitive rehabilitation with the same populations.

Assessor Background & Experience
Dr. Lentz was the head of the Paediatric Neuropsychology Service at the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre and the responsible psychologist for the Rehabilitation Division until September 2021. She has supervised clinical psychology residents and provides continuing education lectures for psychologists interested in neuropsychology at the Health Sciences Centre. She has provided neuropsychological assessment and management for professional sports organizations. Furthermore, she has provided lectures for Memorial University, the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, and the Parkinson’s Society of NL on the neuropsychological implications of various neurological conditions on functioning in adults.

Dr. Lentz obtained a doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology at the University of Victoria in British Columbia.

Dr. Lentz is dedicated to diversity and inclusion for all. She was on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Respect and Civility Committee for Eastern Health. She is currently on the board of the National Newcomer Navigation Network and the board for Make a Change Canada.
