The Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association’s (ACTLA’s) Women’s Legal Forum Gala

Event Date: April 28th, 2017

Event Time: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Location: Calgary, Alberta

The Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association’s (ACTLA’s) Women’s Legal Forum Gala is a bi-annual event, bringing together more than 400 lawyers (personal injury, medical malpractice, business and commercial, and more), businesses, and community leaders from across Alberta. The event will also have representation from the insurance industry.

This year, the ACTLA is raising funds for the Calgary Drug Treatment Court (CDTC). The CDTC has been providing community-based alternatives to incarceration for non-violent, drug-addicted offenders since 2007.  They have recently seen a decrease in funding from both governments, making it increasingly challenging to run time- and funding-intensive programs. They have also seen a rise in the number of women going through the programs.

AssessMed is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s ACTLA Women’s Legal Forum Gala.
