AssessMed Announces the Appointment of Donald Kunkel as President of AssessMed Inc.

AssessMed is excited to announce that Donald Kunkel has been appointed as the company’s new President.
Don brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked previously as:
- An all-lines independent adjuster for Markel Insurance
- Senior AB field representative for a prominent Canadian insurer
- Lead adjuster of an SIU division
- Owner and Operator of FAIR Medicals, an independent medical assessment company
- Vice President of Business Development for Medisys Health Group
- Executive Vice president for AssessMed
Don’s Experience in the IME Industry
Don entered the IME space in 2001 when he opened FAIR Medicals, a nationally recognized independent medical assessment company. Don sold FAIR to Medisys Health Group in 2005 and went on to work for Medisys for six years, ultimately rising to the rank of Vice President of Business Development. After briefly departing the IME space in 2011, he came to join the AssessMed team.
Don’s experience in insurance, his customer-centric approach, and his passion for IME have driven AssessMed to consistently exceed client expectations and achieve new levels of success.
