Dr. Squissato is a Family Practice Anesthetist with a fellowship in chronic pain medicine and is an Assistant Clinical Professor, in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University.
Currently, her clinical practice focuses on anesthesia, chronic pain, and medical aesthetics. Special interests include sports medicine (H.B.Sc. Kinesiology, McMaster University); nutrition (M.Sc., Columbia University); remote medicine (locums in the Canadian Arctic and Himalayas); and aerospace medicine (research internship with NASA).

Assessor Background & Experience
Dr. Squissato gained her medical degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She completed her family medicine residency at McMaster University and then pursued additional training in Anesthesia and chronic pain medicine at the University of Toronto.
She is recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, with a focused practice in pain management, specifically Interventional Pain Management, including epidural steroid injections and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.
She has been awarded Advanced Credentialing with the Canadian Academy of Pain Management and currently practices interventional pain medicine at GSH Medical in Toronto.
Dr. Squissato has a special interest in medical cannabinoid therapy. She has the following professional certifications with respect to conducting independent medical assessments: CMLE (ON), CSME/CAPDA Certification in Medicolegal Expertise (CMLE) Examination.
