Assessor Background & Experience
Dr. Spevick currently runs a neurology practice in Toronto and serves as a consultant with Cleveland Clinic Canada. He has many years of experience conducting independent medical assessments in the medical-legal context, providing objective, evidence-based opinions in both tort and accident benefit matters. Dr. Spevick has completed formal training through Certification in Medical Legal Expertise (CMLE) and brings substantial experience in the assessment of catastrophic impairment claims. His reports are known for their clarity, thoroughness, and balanced analysis, assisting insurers, legal professionals, and the courts in understanding complex neurological issues.
Assessor Education
Dr. Spevick completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and earned his medical degree from George Washington University. He went on to complete his neurology residency at the University of Toronto, where he developed a strong foundation in the diagnosis and management of complex neurological disorders.
